Wooden house of Flis family. The house was built at the break of XIX/XX century at Turobinska street. Destroyed in 50’s or 60’s. According to local sources, the owner of the house was a blacksmith.

Bychawa 2-floor brick tenement house built probably by A. Fraczek around 1910. Currently owned by Sagan family, serves as grocery store. Model in current view.

Tenement house of Szmul Eintmagnjonow built in 1892 after a great fire in Bychawa. Building stood in eastern frontier of the market square. It was destroyed during WWII or straight after.

This tenement house was built in 1982 by Chaim Lustemberg and Berek Brad. It stood in the eastern frontage of the market square. It was destroyed during WWII or straight after.

Bychawa Jewish Tenement Houses 1892-1893

Bychawa Jewish tenement houses built in 1892 and 1893 after fire that burned the town in 1892.

Tenement houses were build by:
Market square No. 18 – A. Szternfeld (before WWII owned by D. Rajs),
Market square No. 19 – J. Fafajzel, – model made by M. Strojny (slight changes added)
Market square No. 20 – L. Ajnsztejn & L. Finkelsztajn – model made by M. Strojny (slight changes added)

After WWII nationalized and changed into communal apartments.

Bychawa Jewish wooden 2-floor tannery built by L. I. Klajman in 1906 at the bank of Kosarzewka river. The tannery was probably destroyed during WWII.

Wola Bychawska Distillery Skawinscy

The distillery (gorzelnia) was built by Skawinscy gentry family in 1899 in their granage Wola Bychawska. It worked until WWI and was burned during austro-hungarian – russian fights in 1914.

The house of municipal janitor Michalowa and local arrest (koza). Built in XIX century, definitely stood in 1957, then destroyed to build kindergarten.

After WWII nationalized by Soviet occopants. Till 1989 used as a stable or store. After 1989 bought by private investor. Renovated and used as a wedding house.

Bychawa Kryska Mill 1925

Bychawa wooden motor-mill built by P. Kryska in 1925. In ’30s owned by Jew (probably Rostenberg?) due to debt of Kryska family. Nationalized after WWII. Abandoned afret 1989, destroyed in 2002. In place supermarket was built.
