Narrow Gauge Industrial Diesel Locomotive Gls 30
About a very popular and useful narrow gauge industrial diesel locomotive designated GLS 30.
Produced in many variations for years, the GLS-30 series diesel locomotives finally went into serial production in 1961. They were, and continue to be, very popular industrial, narrow gauge engines.
Today they are generally found in brickyards.
The first two images below show variations of GLS30 that are found in the Narrow Gauge Train Museum, Sochaczew, Poland.
The cab is arranged such that the driver sits sideways.
It is equiped with a 3 speed gear box. The engine is water cooled.

You get plans to model this Polish narrow gauge diesel yard engine GLS30
You get a book of plans and information, including specifications, about the engine.
The plans offer modelers and collectors the opportunity to build a highly detailed, museum quality, replica of the original locomotive. The model can be made using 1 mm card stock, styrene, or brass. The basic instructions in the book focus on card stock construction. Just substitute the material of your choice.
The resulting model is a highly detailed 1 to 25 scale replica of the original engine.
