“The instructions were simple and straightforward.
I made a serious mistake however. I wanted to check if the unit was working so I attempted to check the output current and promptly burned out the electronics.
Nowhere in the instructions did say that this unit could not be subjected to a current check or any load at all.
The supplier noted that a warning was not included in the instructions. He said he assumed the people knew it was a static field generator and not a transformer.
But he quickly sent a replacement unit with his apologies. The replacement cost me nothing even though it was I who burned out the unit. That is great service
And he says he now will include warning notes with the kit so that others don’t do the same thing.
Once I reassembled my static grass applicator and use it correctly, it works very well and I am very happy with it.
