Pros
You get large quantities from a small growing area.
Your cost per tree is minuscule.
You can grow it all year round on a windowsill.
You can sell whatever you don’t need

It is at least 6 months from planting until harvest.
You may have significantly more than you need.
You need planting medium, containers, and mini starting greenhouse.
Growing it requires your time.
You need storage space for the harvested plants and your growing tools.

Decide what type trees you will make.
Do you want only tall single stem trees or do you want other varieties? If you want other varieties, you will use branches from the main seafoam stem to add to plastic armatures, wire armatures, small sticks. These branches will also make nice shorter roadside and edge trees.
For most varieties, save money by getting smaller branches instead of tall single stem shoots.
Weeds, hedges, flowering bushes, brambles
To model weeds, hedges, flowering bushes, brambles, make clumps from very small branches.
Leaves
For leaves, we generally use fine and medium ground turf. Highlight the foliage by using a couple of different colors.
Adding Branches
To add branches to armatures, give the armature a good spray with CA glue fixer. Put a drop of CA glue on the branch tip. It will immediately stay in place when it touches the armature.
Adding Flock And Leaves
Use hair spray to attach flock to the branches etc.. You avoid drips and get immediate hold. Add a final over spray for a super hold.
