For displaying block signals on a single track used for two way traffic, this circuit changes signal light displays when it senses a change in direction.
Features
For single track multi-directional point to point layouts.
Can be used if track includes reversing loops.
Direction can be set manually by a dispatcher or automatically by a direction sensing circuit.
Can be used with
- 3 lights Green, Yellow, Red – Link
- Two Light Red Green – Link
- Spotlight – Link
- PRR Position Light Railroad Signals – Link
Explanation of the image below
The image labeled “3 Light – Signal Block” is the Model Scenery Signal Driver that you see here.
This image shows how a four block signal system. There are signal lights on each side of the track. Each is controlled by its own “3 Light – Signal Block”.
The block interlock is shown between each set of lights.
Making The Interlock
The interlock is simple to make.
It consists of diodes and screw terminals.
The image at the left shows a 3D model of an interlock that can be wired in series with others.
The parts can be connected using the standard soldering procedures when using a prototype
You Need:
fddfff
We, however, use a professional made circuit board into which we just insert the parts and make a few simple solder joints. You can get info about it here. KKKK
