HC-05 Parameters:

1. The core module is a slave module. The outgoing interface includes VCC, GND, TXD, RXD, KEY pins, and the Bluetooth connection status pin (STATE). The output is low when not connected, and high after connection.

2.The led indicates the bluetooth connection status, fast flashing means no bluetooth connection, slow flashing means entering AT mode, double flashing means bluetooth is connected and the port is open

3. The bottom plate is equipped with anti-reverse diode, with 3.3V LDO, input voltage 3.6~6V, the current is about 30mA when not paired, about 10mA after pairing, the input voltage is prohibited to exceed 7V

4. The interface level is 3.3V, which can be directly connected to various microcontrollers (51, AVR, PIC, ARM, MSP430, etc.), 5V microcontrollers can also be directly connected, without MAX232 or through MAX232

5. The effective distance in open space is 10 meters (power level is CLASS 2), and it is possible to exceed 10 meters, but the connection quality of this distance is not guaranteed

6. After pairing, it can be used as a full-duplex serial port without knowing any Bluetooth protocol. It supports 8-bit data bits, 1-bit stop bits, and a communication format that can be set to parity. This is also the most commonly used communication format and does not support other formats.

7. You can enter the AT command mode by pulling up pin 34 to set parameters and query information

8. It can be switched to master or slave mode through AT commands, and can be connected to specified devices through AT commands

9. Support standard baud rate from 4800bps to 1382400bps

Product Usage:

After pairing, it only needs to be used as a serial port with a fixed baud rate, so as long as the serial device in the communication format of “fixed baud rate, 8 data bits, no parity” can directly replace the original wired serial port and No need to modify the program, such as data acquisition, smart car, serial printer, outdoor dot matrix screen control, etc.

Pairing with a computer: It is suitable for communication between the computer and the device through the Bluetooth serial port, the use method is the same as the serial port

Paired with mobile phone: suitable for communication between mobile phone and device through Bluetooth serial port, the use method is the same as the serial port

Pairing with a Bluetooth host: It is suitable for two devices to communicate directly through the Bluetooth serial port, such as between a single-chip microcomputer and a single-chip computer, between a wired serial port and a single-chip computer, etc. The usage method is the same as that of the serial port.

Kind tips:

1. The supply voltage must be 5V, not 3.3V

2. Do not connect the pins of the power cable to the data cable, please confirm carefully before wiring

3. LED must enter slow flashing mode before AT command test can be performed

4. After each AT command is input, you must press the Enter key to send it

5. If you cannot return OK, please exchange RXD and TXD

6. Do not tear off the heat shrinkable tube or weld it by yourself, otherwise it will be regarded as a waiver of the warranty and return service

7. It is not possible to use the RXD and TXD on the UNO to connect the Bluetooth module for AT command test
