Overview
The controller includes speed and direction control. Even though the controller is capable of using up to 30 volts, since most analog model trains require 12 to 16 voltages to attain maximum speed, this guide will focus on using a 12 volt dc power source,

The Parts
A Motor Controller with reversing switch and speed controlling potentiometer.
Two screw pin terminals
Two lengths of connecting wire.
Assembly
The first step is to connect the reversing switch and the power in and output wires.
The screw terminals will be solder to the ends of the power in and output wires once the electronics are put into a box.
