Step By Step Procedure

1. Power the HC-05 Module

2 Enable Bluetooth on Your Tablet

3. Pair with HC-05

– Search for Bluetooth devices in the Bluetooth settings of your tablet.
– Select the HC-05 module from the list of available devices.
– Enter the pairing code when prompted (default is usually “1234” or “0000”).

4 Install a Bluetooth Terminal App On The Tablet

– Download and install a Bluetooth terminal app from the Google Play Store. Some popular apps include:

5. Connect to HC-05 Using the App

– Open the Bluetooth terminal app you installed.
– In the app, find the option to connect to a Bluetooth device.
– Select the paired HC-05 module.
– Once connected, you can start sending and receiving data.

Troubleshooting

  • Make sure the HC-05 module is properly powered and connected.
  • Verify the connections between the HC-05 and the microcontroller, especially the RX and TX pins.
  • If pairing fails, try unpairing and pairing again, and make sure the pairing code is correct.
  • If the Bluetooth terminal app cannot connect, restart the app or try a different app.
