The Controller
The controller is an app that you install on an android phone or tablet.
The app will control as many DC motors that are equipped with the BlueTrax decoder. With that decoder you can run and control all motors on the same track.
The motor being controlled is shown where you see Loco in the image. That choice is made by clicking on the Active Loco button.
Once a motor is made active, it remains active and continues running according to the last instructions it received. So you can run as many as 10 motors at the same time, an on the same track for that matter.
Speed is controlled by moving the ball on the throttle. The rate of speed changes is regulated so that there are no jumps in train speed. Speed % changes with speed.
The lights bar is used if your loco has lights. It allows you to have your locomotives lights on while it is idle.
The loco decoder is connected to the app via an hc-05 data receiver module. You activate that decoder using the connect and disconnect buttons.
